The bottom of the sheet also had a cut-off piece to put on your fridge. On the sheet in my phone number, email and blog address. Please  look for this to come home with your student.

Also, while our kids were scavenging the room, I played a picture slideshow of kids throughout the  day. I will be adding to this throughout the year…stay tuned….

Tech use: I am hoping to add a little blurb every so often about the technology that was used or the lesson that was taught. Today(Yesterday) I used my laptop to play an imovie that i made the day before. I also used my slate to control my mac. The slate didn’t go so well, i couldn’t get it play my imovie, so i put it down and had to do it by hand. No biggy…

Laptop permission slips went home; first class to get them all in gets a prize!!

I am really proud of the kids in my classes that worked hard and tried thier best!   Thank you, and i’m sure you will see your efforts pay off in August!

I am going to miss the morning snack and the granola bars though!

I thought i might comment on last weeks staff vs. students basketball game. Can you say, “Rip off?” No…I didn’t studder. I said RIP OFF! We sooo should have won that game. Not like i had any part of it. I sooo cannot play basketball…or anything else ball related…really. But I was still there to root on my team. Mrs. Johnson and i were cheerleaders. Sorta. I don’t do pom poms or any of that girlie-cheery stuff either, but i can yell!

On the other hand, it was very cool to hear all of the kids join together and chant. It’s not very often that kids in junior high are united in anything. That was the best part of the afternoon.

It was also kinda fun to see the teachers trying to keep up with the students. Some of them were dying! I will post pictures! lol

Hold your pants on boys and girls…I didn’t say i was a poetry lover. I just said that it is starting to grow on me…

So, with that being said, choose something that you love, search the internet, and post a poem. I would love to read some of the poems that you find cool…
